Robert “Bob” Dugan was born in Troy, New York, in 1953.  A Graduate of LaSalle Institute and the College of the Holy Cross, Bob’s journey took him from an aspiring PGA tour golfer to a respected business leader. Guided by perseverance, faith, and God’s quiet direction. He found his calling at Thor Guard lightning prediction and warning systems, where he has served as president and CEO for more than 35 years.

In 1993, Bob married the love of his life, Susan, whose steadfast love and support became the foundation of his personal and professional success. His 31 years together were filled with partnership and shared purpose until her sudden passing in 2023. Her love and legacy continued inspiring his work and his life.

Though All I Am is his first book, he is no stranger to writing. He has authored numerous articles on lightning safety, ways with honesty, and a desire to help others. In this memoir of his, he shares his life’s journey with candor and heart, offering readers living proof that God is real. Heaven exists, and faith has the power to light the way through life’s most significant challenges.
